Hampton Road Sanitary District (HRSD) provides service to 20 cities and counties of southeast Virginia and the Eastern Shore, an area of nearly 5,000 square miles with a population of more than 1.9 million. HRSD is currently implementing improvements at their York River Treatment Plant.
The scope of work includes a bypass system, dewatering and sanitizing pipelines, performing as-found and post-installation inspections, installing a CFRP structural liner, pipe abandonment, and concrete repairs. The concrete repair scope of work includes repairing degraded walls of the primary clarifier effluent chambers.
HRSD is hosting a technical tour and education event to observe on-going construction activities.
