LifeJacket® Galvanic Cathodic Protection System

LifeJacketThe LifeJacket® Cathodic Protection System is a patented corrosion protection system that uses a zinc alloy mesh anode placed directly against the inside face of a stay-in-place fiberglass form, and is proven to stop corrosion by providing an electrical current to the affected region. This current is produced through a galvanic process and thus, does not require an external power supply.

The custom fabricated fiberglass jackets are designed and manufactured to fit a wide range of infrastructure shapes and sizes for rapid installation. Along with providing the attachments and components of a cathodic protection system, LifeJacket® also creates a stay-in-place form that is used for a “form and pump” repair of the concrete structure that is being repaired and protected.

LifeJacket® System Features:
  • Customizable for nearly any type of structural component or environment.
  • Repairs, strengthens and protects concrete in one system installation
  • Self-powered system adjusts to meet changes in environmental conditions
LifeJacket® trade name and patents are owned by Jarden Zinc Products, Inc. and are distributed and custom designed for specific application exclusively in the US and Mexico by STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES.

LIfePanel™ Galvanic Cathodic Protection System

LifePanel Galvanic CPLIfePanel™ is a galvanic cathodic protection system that is attached to the exterior of concrete surfaces to stop corrosion by providing a uniform electrical current to the affected region. The panels cover large areas and may be custom designed configured to fit nearly any structure type.

Electro Tech CP Metalized Cathodic Protection (MCP) Systems

Metalizing Cathodic ProtectionUtilizing commercially available and patented anode alloys, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES’ metalized cathodic protection systems are designed to deliver corrosion protection to embedded reinforcing steel in concrete through the galvanic process.

When properly connected to reinforcing steel in concrete, a metalized anode system delivers a uniform protective current. Relatively simple to operate, these systems do not require external power and offer lower lifecycle costs compared to other methods of cathodic protection. A metalized surface may also be coated for aesthetic purposes or to provide additional protection.

Electro Tech CP™ Metalized Cathodic Protection Systems Feature:
  • Adaptable – sprayed anode coating conforms to any type of concrete structural component. Array of alloys available for various environments.
  • Robust - adheres strongly to the concrete substrate ensuring the anode remains in place for the life of the system.
  • Easy to maintain – systems do not require external power, are visually inspectable, and allow for application of additional coating materials in the future without disrupting the structure.
