Cathodic Protection Systems
Galvanic cathodic protection (CP) systems are typically used where the total current requirement is low and the total circuit resistance allows the small voltage differential between the anode and the cathode to generate the protective current. Galvanic systems can be designed for long life by adding sufficient metal, require little maintenance and incur no operating costs other than preventive monitoring and maintenance.

Whether applied to reinforced concrete, steel or other structures subject to corrosion, STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES provides all the products and engineering support needed to design optimal cathodic protection systems.

Galvanic CP Systems
LifeJacket® System
A stay-in-place fiberglass form, LifeJacket® encapsulates a zinc mesh anode to deliver a protective current. Easy to install, maintenance free and self-powered, LifeJacket® offers a long-term economical solution for corrosion control in structures exposed to marine environments.

LifeJacket® cathodic protection systemFeaturing Electro Tech CP Products:
  • LifeJacket® Zinc Mesh Anode
  • LifeJacket® Fiberglass Form
ProtectABLE™ MCP-RC
Utilizing proprietary and patented anode alloys, MCP-RC is designed to be consumed over a long period of time - delivering corrosion protection to the reinforcing steel in concrete. Additionally, the system can be coated for aesthetic purposes or to provide protection from the environment.
